LAKE WORTH MUSIC & ARTS COALITION

Lake Worth Music and Arts Coalition (LWMAC) is a non profit organization dedicated to the promotion of music and music-based education for youth in undeserved communities. The organization’s stated theme-line is: Band Together. LWMAC was founded this year with the goal of bringing the local music community together to help provide mentoring programs and music lessons to children.  As a member of  LWMAC, musicians commit to completing required number of community services hours through music mentoring, individual and lessons, and providing entertainment free of charge for local non profit fundraising events. In return musicians will receive guidance and tools to cultivate every aspect of their music career. Lake Worth Music and Arts Coalition mission is to strengthen and connect the local music community with innovative programs that empower musicians and fuel Lake Worth’s creative economy.

LWMAC is working towards providing programs to help local artists navigate opportunities in the music industry and services to unite the local music community through:
EDUCATION Music mentoring for children in under served communities. Group and individual music lessons for both children and adults.
OUTREACH Volunteer and community service stated above.
